Well, my piano arrangements are now complete for Star Light Zone as well as Scrap Brain Zone.
Next on my list: finalizing my piano arrangements for the Boss Battle and The Final Zone from the classic game Sonic the Hedgehog.
Wow! That actually covers all the major themes from that game. I guess I should work on more tracks from Sonic 2 next. :)
See you all next time!
Well, I now have two new track in the Audio Portal! They are:
I hope people enjoy these new songs. :)
As for my next projects, I'm going to try doing Starlight Zone and Scrap Brain Zone. See you all next time!
Well, here is my latest addition to the Newgrounds Audio Portal:
"Sonic- Marble Zone Piano" http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen /374224
I certainly hope people enjoy it. We'll have to wait and see how this new track does. :)
Sometimes I miss the old Audio Portal. You could only vote once on a song (Certainly helped minimize the problems caused by Zero-Bombers and Five-Rocketing) and, your song was given a special status once it was downloaded a certain number of times. These statuses were:
0-499 Downloads = Audio Track
500-999 Downloads = Gold Track
1000-2499 Downloads = Platinum Track
2500-4999 Downloads = Double Platinum Track
5000 or more Downloads = Diamond Track
That being said, under the previous version of the Audio Portal, I would now have my first Gold Track! ^_^ The song in question? "Sonic- Casino Night Zone Piano" http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen /342274 with 508 Downloads as of this writing.
I just want to take the time to thank everyone who has been listening to and enjoying my songs. Your reviews and votes are greatly appreciated. :)
Now then, may as well get to work on my next track!
Well, it's been awhile, but I managed to put together another piano arrangement of a song from a Sonic the Hedgehog game. The track this time is "Sonic 3- Ice Cap Zone Act 1 Piano", which can be listened to here, right in the Newgrounds Audio Portal: http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen /367099
Here's hoping that people enjoy it. :)
It's been 2 and half months since I last posted a song on Newgrounds. After some inspiration and a day of work, I have a new arrangement.
I just posted a piano arrangement of "Hydrocity Zone Act 1" from the game Sonic 3. I hope people like it. I'll soon see what they think of it.
So far, my demo of impersonating Dr. Eggman's voice is doing better than I expected, despite a score of 2.51/5.00. Not bad at all, if you ask me. Deem Bristow certainly is not the easiest guy to impersonate.
I think the real "Fail" moment of my day would have to be discovering a new song by ParagonX9. Man, I remember the old days of the Audio Portal when tidbits of ParagonX9's music were always featured on the front page. So, I see this new song and decide to hastily leave a review, especially since my review would be the first on that track.
Come on, what are the odds of getting the first review on a song by ParagonX9? Not very good. My vote boosted the song's score from 1.00 to 4.53, but what did I say in my review?
"Wow!" "Impressive, as usual. Superb work, as always!"
Not very descriptive, huh? Not to mention redundant. Yikes... well, at least, so far, people think my review is Helpful. Let's see how long that lasts. ^_^;
Well, it has been brought to my attention that a song requires 30 or more votes in order to be considered for Best of the Week in the Audio Portal.
Therefore, it would seem that good tracks could easily be overlooked if not enough voting takes place.
Also, having low-quality tracks listed as Best of the Week is nothing new around here.
:Shrugs: Oh, well. That all explains a lot to me. In the meantime, may as well begin work on my next track. :)
My latest song, "Sonic 2- Casino Night Zone Piano" is now in the Audio Portal! It should be interesting to see how it does. I hope people enjoy this new track. :)
It's nice to finally be able to get my audio posted here at Newgrounds. For now, it's mostly a trip down memory lane: giving music from the first Sonic the Hedgehog game a new "Flavor" of sorts. Hopefully, people will like these songs and maybe even use them in their Flash projects. We'll just have to wait and see how things go. :)
